Medical Equipment Installer Unveils Expansion Plans

Maxim Medical Services Inc., a medical equipment installation and repair firm, announced today that it will expand its operations here, creating 51 new jobs by 2012.

The company, which installs, services and resells surgical lighting and imaging equipment, will invest more than $1.6 million to expand its distribution operations and establish a light manufacturing center in an existing 50,000 square-foot facility in Churubusco, 16 miles northwest of Fort Wayne.
